Rental Information

Room rates vary depending on the square footage and number of bedrooms.

In the links below you will find the breakdown of the different floorplans and their rates for each building.

Harrison Landing Suites & Rates

Harrison Pointe Suites & Rates

Unless otherwise stipulated, all congregate care and assisted living residences quoted rental rates are for one person, per month.

The fee for each additional person in the same suite at a Harrison Residence is $600/month.

No. Suites are rented on a month-to-month basis. The only requirement is that you give 30 days notice if you are planning to move, so that we may arrange for a new resident for your suite.

Depending upon availability, you can enter into a rental agreement immediately, depositing with us your first month’s rent and a month’s rent as your damage deposit.

If no suites are available for your desired occupancy date, you can reserve an upcoming suite by placing a $500.00 deposit towards a suite that you wish to reserve.

Alternatively, you can have your name placed on our wait list and we will call you when a suite that suits you is available.

Basic cable is included, but if you want more channels or premium cable, you will need to contact Shaw Cable and set up your own account. You will be responsible to pay for premium cable.

Yes, internet is included at both Harrison Landing & Harrison Pointe.

Harrison Landing: Telephone is not included in your room rate package. Residents are responsible for their own telephone plan.

Harrison Pointe: Includes your phone package in your room rate with unlimited long distance.

The following are typical expenses that you will likely incur:

  • Private furnishings for your suite
  • Telephone (telephone is included in your rent at Harrison Pointe)
  • Meals and accommodations for guests
  • Insurance for suite contents
  • Health Services specifically required for your particular needs
  • Sundry Items – Light bulbs, toilet paper, etc.
  • Optional Services if desired

The following optional services will be available to you as a resident:

  • Organized Outings outside of the Harrison Community (may include a nominal participation fee.)
  • Hair Salon for women & men
  • Spa/Esthetician Services – Pedicures, manicures and more – in the wellness area or in-suite
  • Massage Services – Therapeutic and relaxation – in the wellness area or in-suite
  • Therapeutic Bathing by Professional Care Personnel using our wonderful walk-in tubs
  • Private Dining Room for private functions
  • Guest meals
  • Guest Suite – at Harrison Pointe
  • Private Care – medication assistance, shower assistance, etc.
  • Personal laundry services
  • Tuck shop

A monthly rental package at a Harrison Residence includes the following:

  • 24-hour in-house monitored security, including emergency systems with care staff available at all times.
  • Access to ongoing socials, parties, entertainers, pub nights and other fun social events.
  • Recreational activities, fitness programs, clubs & games.
  • Unlimited access to all lounge, garden & patio, wellness and recreation areas.
  • Secure building with video surveillance of key areas.
  • Access to library, computer room and internet.
  • 24-hour in-house security call system with private pendant option.

Reserved underground parking stalls are available for $50/month.

No, all Harrison suites are private pay.

Harrison Communities allow a small dog or cat.

The Manager likes to meet your pet first to ensure it is suitable for living in community with seniors.

We ask that all pet owners provide a contact person who is available to look after your pet in the case of an emergency.

Yes, We need to meet all potential residents before move in, this ensures that we are the right fit for the resident and they are the right fit for us. We never want to set anyone up for failure.

Suite Information

Yes, you can. Any other alternation will require approval.

There are 2 pull stations in every suite. One located in the bathroom and one in the living room. We highly recommend residents also purchase a care-call pendant that can be wore as a necklace or bracelet.

This allows residents to notify staff of an emergency or need for assistance from anywhere in the building or their suite. There is a one-time charge for a pendant of $250.

There are no monthly charges for this service.

Yes! Every Harrison suite comes with a full kitchen.

Yes, both buildings have a full salon studio with appointments available every week.

Yes, Amplifon Hearing Clinic comes the following days:

  • Harrison Landing: The first Thursday of every month
  • Harrison Pointe: Second to last Thursday of every month.

Yes! Life labs visits both Harrison buildings as follows:

  • Harrison Pointe: Every Tuesday at 7:00am
  • Harrison Landing: Every Thursday at 7:30am

 

All Lab requisitions must be sent to Mobile Labs by your general practitioner(GP).

You generally will see your name added to the list around 2 to 3 weeks.

Yes, we provide personalized services. We assist with medications and personal care (dressing, grooming, toileting, escort, reminders, etc) for a fee.

The Harrison’s are extremely proud to be one of the few buildings in Langley to offer assisted living for our residents.

We have available 24/7 support for personal and medical care.

While residents still have the option to bring in outside care 99% of residents would rather work with the Harrison Care team as it is a friendly face with someone available 24/7 to answer your questions.

Yes! Are activity teams at the Harrisons run an amazing activities program with new events and ideas every month!

Harrison Communities are proud to have the Harrison Bus!

The bus makes multiple trips to stores like (Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollar Store, IGA etc.!) these trips are a complimentary service at no charge.

All Harrison Communities have a high end monitored security camera system installed, with 24/7 staff.

Every suite comes with its own individual key.

Yes, for the safety and security of each resident, wellness checks are performed twice a day during mealtimes.

If you do not show up for meals, you will be contacted by phone or someone will check up on you in your suite.

If you are not there, the staff are going to check the sign-out book in the lobby. If you have not signed out, your family will be notified and Missing Person Procedure will be initiated.

  • Requires a higher level of care.
  • Inability to make safe decisions independently and does not have a spouse living with them who can do so.
  • Requires 24-hour supervision or regularly needs unscheduled professional health care.
  • Unable to stand up, ambulate or transfer independently.
  • Exhibits behaviours that jeopardize their own or others’ safety and well-being. Presents with behavioural disturbances such as pacing, wandering, repetitive movement, physical aggression, yelling, calling out, repetitive speech, verbal aggression, delusions, hallucinations, elopement, and other behaviours that may be considered disruptive and may cause fear in others.
  • Is unable to take steps to protect themselves or follow directions in an emergency.
