Harrison Communities is registered with the Assisting Living Registry (ALR) meaning we proudly can offer in house care and support. To be registered with the ALR you must meet the requirements of the “Community Care and Assisted Living Act” and the “Assisted Living Regulation”. This allows us to help residents keep their independence longer by offering support with activities of daily living and assistance with managing medication.

You are more than welcome to bring in outside support/care like what is done in independent buildings without the ALR designation, however because outside support is often different care workers each time and unpredictable times, we find Harrison Residences prefer the similar smiling face and punctuality of our care team. We want residences spending the least amount of time waiting and the most amount of time enjoying all the amenities of the community.

You may or may not need care at this time in your life, but it is comforting to know that it is available. At all Harrison Residences, we have Care Staff working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, supervised by our licensed nurses. We are here when you need us!
